The big idea!
Towards the end of 2012 and the beginning of this year I was guided to just sit in the void during meditation, to abstain from active techniques and just to be deeply present. It felt like I was allowing space and time for something life-changing and radical to germinate but I had no idea what.
One of the things that came up for me personally during this time was my overwhelming sense of responsibility and duty.

For a long time now I have been particularly drawn to the idea and expression of the sacred feminine. I don’t think this is just because I’m a woman; I believe men have equal access to this aspect of themselves as women do to their sacred masculine. The card I drew is the Nine of Cups, a card of happiness and celebration. I’ve always known Spirit has an excellent sense of humour and I think there’s certainly an element here of the universe saying “yes, be thankful and celebrate the fact that the planet and the people on it are still here!” Joking aside, I do think this is very important. I believe the future of the human race on our planet hung in the balance for a while with our future undecided, and in the last few years it has really been up to us, our thoughts and our actions as to just how events would unfold (take a look at my previous yearly readings).

I’m always being asked how you can tell whether a message or thought is coming from your intuition and higher self or whether it’s your ego (your small self) talking. Here’s a video with some useful tips to help you recognise your intuitive voice, but remember practice makes perfect!
