Coping with uncertainty

As we’re in such unsettled and changing times, I thought I’d share my top tips for coping with uncertainty using spiritual and healing practices. These are very general and will be of benefit to everyone. However, they don’t address specific issues such as acute anxiety or depression, so you might want to seek additional advice from experts in these areas if necessary.

Who you are; a poem by Semele Xerri
Awakening by Marco Braun

I wrote Who you are on April 5th 2023 – the eve of the full moon in Libra. I wasn’t conscious while writing of how appropriate it was for that particular moon and the astrology surrounding it, but I’m never surprised by where my inner knowing takes me. The Sun conjunct Chiron opposite that moon offered potent healing energy for the kind of wounding described here, common to many. The experience itself happened many years ago, but its vivid memory sustains me still. It’s a poem for any time, and for anyone walking the spiritual path…

Lowered weir on the Esgair at Cwmpengraig

Rivers and all water was sacred to the Celts. They knew water was the source of all life, so it was closely associated with the goddess, birth, and the gateway to the Otherworld. It was appropriately honoured and appreciated as such. The current mass pollution of water happening worldwide couldn’t be further away from this natural philosophy. In the ancient Welsh story How Culhwch Won Olwen, the salmon (specifically the Salmon of Lyn Llyw) was sought out for advice on a vital quest because it was known as the oldest and wisest of all animals.

Best foot forward; a dream work renewal

Posted on Mar 16, 2021 in Healing, Spiritual living, Uncategorized

Baby feet

Do you use conscious dream work as part of your self-development and soul growth? I’ve been blessed (it only occasionally felt like cursed!) with an extremely vivid dream life, which only went quiet during a few years of peri-menopause. I mourned the loss of my interior reality life; I’m assuming there was so much rippling on the surface of my consciousness that there was no need for indirect messaging. If you’ve been through menopause you’ll know exactly what I mean!
