I’ve never really been bothered or felt limited by age. Perhaps it’s because I grappled with lack of self-confidence and shyness as a child and teenager, whereas the older I got the more confident, comfortable and relaxed I became.

While reading a book recently about living as the embodiment of your soul purpose, the author referred to the work of Carl Jung, and that he would say the ways we stray from the path ARE the path. This caught my attention and true to my searcher form I immediately called up Google to find the original.

The alchemy of boundaries and thresholds

There’s something very magical about crossing any boundary, and we do it every day in multiple ways without ever noticing. Every time you enter a building, drive out of county or state, visit a park, watch a movie, open a book, change task, or click on a website, you’re crossing a boundary and entering different territory. These frequent thresholds offer the best possible opportunity to explore energy, and to notice the slightest of shifts in frequency and vibration.

As children we have an innocent inner sense about thresholds.

Not me, I say.
He is far more intelligent, so much stronger,
More confident, outspoken, just so much
Well, more.
And things stay the same.
It should be her, I say.
She finds it all so easy and effortless,
She looks the part, persuasive and convincing
With her poise and style.
She is just so
Well, perfect.
