This couldn’t have proved truer for me as on the new moon before the Winter Solstice of 2017 we finally moved to our dream home in West Wales, surrounded by woods and serenaded by a musical stream. I wonder if you too came to an understanding of what happiness looks like for you, and did you find ways to create it for yourself? If not, perhaps the card for this year holds the key for you.

The perfect pattern of ebb and flow

Seal feeding pupMy recent time away on the Welsh coast reacquainted me with the perfection of the universe’s cycles and patterns. I unexpectedly witnessed the miracle of birth and new life in the plethora of seal pups hidden in quiet coves along the coastline. My heart was instantly tenderised by the breathtaking beauty of vigilant parents patrolling the waters and a seal Mum answering the strangely human call to feed her pup, dragging herself determinedly over sharp rocks and stones.
