Intuitive reading for 2024: Take it fast and not furious

Here’s my intuitive reading for 2024. It’s long been my tradition now at the end of the year to draw one card from the Thoth Tarot deck. I ask for key guidance from the Thoth Tarot on the best way to approach the energy and events of the new year.

At first glance you’re struck by the tremendous speed and energy in this card; the Princes (Knights in Rider Waite-based decks) are just about the most active and movement-oriented cards in the deck. So it’s going to be a fast-paced year where things change and shift incredibly quickly.

I once again have a major arcana card for this lunar month, telling you that to some extent events will appear to be outside your control, as spiritual energies and divine consciousness are active on the earth and working their higher purposes.

Love bomb; a poem

I was inspired to write this poem after listening to several friends express hurt over small things that nonetheless exploded their sense of self and confidence. I began to imagine creating the opposite with a love bomb! Simultaneously, I was attending an excellent online course by Trust the People, facilitating work with others in our neighbourhoods to shape our society into one that serves the needs of all. They have some excellent tools for overcoming the inevitable challenges that arise in human relating.

This is the first time I’ve pulled the same card for two months in succession. It’s not a big surprise that the disruptive potentials of last month’s eclipses continue to reverberate through the cosmos; that’s the nature of eclipses.
