My beloved one, it’s me – your Higher Self.

It might not feel like it now, but I’m writing to tell you that you have already everything you need to make it through these troubling times. I know this with absolute conviction. How do I know?

I’ve watched you face challenges before, when it felt like your life was falling apart and you didn’t know whether you were going to make it to the other side. Or if you did, whether you would have the energy to keep moving forwards after that. And yet here you are, still.

As I was asking for guidance, this card flipped over insistently and stopped me in mid shuffle. It’s fascinating that once again we have divine feminine energy calling for our attention. Here we’re invited to embody Her Mother aspect, as the fertile incubator who engenders love, compassion, fertility, abundance, well-being, and beauty into physical form and manifestation.

Freedom through relationship

I’ve been on a self-healing and soul growth path for more than 30 years now, and there are always more layers to explore. Recently, I’ve been working on understanding freedom through relationship; in this case my closest relationship with my life partner.

About a year ago, my partner George discovered he had ADHD. This new knowledge was both a relief and a challenge. It opened up a whole new perspective on the sticky patches in our relationship we kept cycling around. It meant I could let go of a lot of painful assumptions I’d been making about how he felt about me. And it meant I had to choose to recommit to this new relationship where I knew exactly what I was letting myself in for.

This is the second month in a row with the divine feminine stepping to the fore and I’m definitely all for that. Last month we had the Queen of Swords and now we have the fiery Queen of Wands. In simple terms you could say this month is about following up on the previous month’s thoughts, ideas, and decisions, with passion and confident action.
