Here’s my spiritual guidance November/December 2026, covering the lunar month beginning with the Scorpio new moon on November 9th at 7.02am (UK) through to December 8th. Every new lunar month I draw one card from the Thoth Tarot to spark intuitive insight about the key energy to navigate by during the coming four weeks. I then take a quick look at the astrology.
Spiritual guidance November/December 2026 inspired by the Tarot
The Art card appears as a profound guide for the next four weeks, inviting you to explore balance, alchemy, and the integration of opposites. Art represents the alchemical “Great Work”: bringing together opposing forces in your life – work and rest, logic and intuition, active and receptive energies – and blending them into a harmonious synthesis rather than allowing them to pull you in different directions.

We can see a very obvious example of the need for this in the world around us, where so many loud voices insist that there can only be one right way, and that everything else must be wrong. This is the subconscious at work; the survival personality that perceives anything or anyone different as a very real threat.
Yet Art invites you to undertake one of the most challenging tasks of the Great Work. To progress, both individually and collectively, we need to learn to blend water (emotion, intuition, imagination and the subconscious) with fire (will, energy, Spirit and awakened consciousness). We need to recognise that as whole beings we are both. We are lunar, reflections of the personality and subconscious, and we are solar, expressing the soul as the divine spark of All That Is.
There is enormous potential over the next four weeks to move towards a greater state of harmony and balance. But because some will inevitably resist this process, for the reasons described above, you may also see the opposite playing out around you: people losing control, taking things to extremes and reacting rather than responding.
This makes it particularly important to find ways to blend and transmute your own experiences this month. Any difficulties or challenges that arise can help guide you towards the middle path, showing you how to maintain balance, harmony, and peace within. They may also help you recognise that things are not always as they appear from our limited human perspective, allowing you to retain your optimism and trust in life rather than being drawn into despair.
Ultimately, only you can make the choice to transform what feels difficult, contradictory or stuck, and put that choice into action. The way through lies in patience, creative adaptation, and emotional temperance.
On the Tree of Life, the Art card represents a bridge between the higher self or conscious awareness, and the subconscious. Pay particular attention to your inner whispers, dreams, and gut feelings this month. When you act upon these insights consciously, you may find a new level of clarity opening up. Alternative ways of living and fresh perspectives can present themselves and resolutions finally be found. If you’ve been considering seeking healing in any form, especially with a holistic or spiritual element, this could also be a particularly fruitful time to seek it.
Looking at world events, this energy may create opportunities for diplomatic treaties and the resolution of conflict through balanced negotiation, although a brief flare-up could precede any meaningful progress.
I also sense the potential for a new fusion of science, technology and environmental disciplines, bringing healing and restoration on many levels. There is an opportunity for the chaotic flow of information, social movements and political unrest to be brought together in a way that produces a profound shift in collective consciousness.
Above all, avoid extremes this month, wherever and with whomever they arise. It may be easy to feel triggered or swept up in the emotions and drama of others, but real progress – like the blending of fire and water in the golden cauldron depicted on the card – comes from a steady, measured hand and emotional composure. Choose actively where your life force and energy flows.
The art is not to suppress the force of either your inner water or fire, but to bring them together through understanding, in a way that creates something far greater than either could achieve alone. Guidance November/December from astrology
The Scorpio new moon on 9th November presents a challenge as the pull of the past clashes with the possibilities of the future. By the 17th, Mars and Jupiter conjunct the Moon’s South Node, bringing significant choices to the fore. Stepping beyond personal comfort zones and making compromises for greater harmony and social justice may prove the wiser path.
There is time to reflect before the Gemini full moon, conjunct Uranus, on 24th November, when a way forward may become clearer. Innovations in communication technology could send ripples through the collective, transforming our understanding of the relationship between the individual and the greater whole.
Mars in Virgo squares Uranus, however, bringing confusion about which direction to take and the best course of action. This uncertainty may persist until the new moon on 9th December. Extreme, ego-centred thinking and reckless theories could fuel conflict and chaos. Attention to detail is essential to uphold the long-term vision and avoid unnecessary blunders.

Tonight is Samhain, the Celtic fire festival known in Wales as Calan Gaeaf. I honour my ancestors by remembering loved ones through stories, photographs, laughter and tears. It's also a time to acknowledge inherited patterns and wounds with compassion, creating space for healing.

Yesterday's first Coming Home to Yourself gathering explored how we disconnect from the web of life. The electricity failed, and the recording mysteriously disappeared! I had to let go, trust, and stop chasing perfection. What mattered most was our connection in the moment.💚
