The soul journey through the Thoth tarot cards: The Star

Thoth Star Tarot CardContinuing my journey through the spiritual development meaning of Tarot cards, specifically the major arcana of the Thoth deck, we reach number 17…..

The Star Tarot card

Most people see this as the “best” spiritual card, and it is very beautiful. After the crisis of the Tower comes the healing balm and influx of the highest light, only made possible by the preceding disintegration. The cracks are how the light gets in.

So at this point you’re able to hold more light in your energy bodies, you’re more aligned with Spirit and your true soul purpose is more accessible because you’re free of all restrictions. This means that your light radiates out to others discernibly, and you’ll probably find that you become less concerned about your own spiritual development, rather feeling motivated to encourage and heal others on their journey. At the same time you may find many more people are irresistibly drawn to you, often just wanting to bask in your light. So you won’t always have to do or say anything, simply being in your presence is enough to enlighten others in whatever way they need. You make people feel connected, more hopeful, because you’re channelling pure light and love as you’re so in tune with cosmic energies and higher realms.

Your personal inner guidance is clear and strong, leading you forward, and you’ll find it much easier to envision your best future and take the practical steps to manifest it. Everything is possible for you now, because you truly believe and trust the universal laws with which you’re working. If you haven’t considered them already, you may want to study and work consciously with those universal laws, as your connection to Spirit is now expanding out into the furthest realms of cosmic intelligence. You may feel drawn to explore your star origins, or receive contact from light beings who reside in other corners and dimensions of the universe. Crystals are very helpful tools when working with the energy of this card. Your view and understanding of reality is expanding exponentially, and you’re able to channel its wisdom.

I also find that this card can sometimes highlight a growing public recognition of your spiritual work, as you become known for your integrity and soulful service. It’s simply an indication of the outer world reflecting back to you your blazing, inner light. Neo in The Matrix films is a perfect illustration of this, when he arrives at Zion to find multitudes lined up just to get a glimpse of him.

Because of this rapid expansion, and all that comes with it, it’s vital to stay grounded and attuned to your own feelings. If you allow yourself to drift too deeply into other realities, or lose touch with your own humanity, there’s a danger you could allow these powerful energies to inflate your self-image or make you ineffective as a spiritual agent in the world.

A star is a bright light that people navigate by, that leads them on with renewed hope, and many will be looking to you to show the way. If you stay connected, centred and grounded, you’ll find it an easy and beautiful process simply to give out to those around you all that you’re continuously receiving yourself from Spirit.
