Finn with old and new tennis balls

Finn with old and new tennis balls

The joy of tennis balls

While we’ve been travelling, my dog Finn has naturally developed his own magical interchange and relationship with the places we visit. His particular connection seems to involve tennis balls, which are one of his great passions. Bear with me……

What has been happening over the months is that he keeps finding tennis balls wherever we go.

Standing in your power

Brighid's powerMy spiritual journey has taken me into many disciplines and paths, but essentially I believe the underlying message in all of them is the same, and very simple. We and every other living thing in the universe are part of each other and God/Goddess, and to fully embrace this understanding we must embody three qualities in particular – love, wisdom and power. For women, this is illustrated beautifully in the image of the three-aspected goddesses that are present in all world cultures. The Emperor is a ruler, and on a world scale I believe this card indicates the tension that will be highlighted between the old and new paradigms;

A soulful environment

Posted on Dec 13, 2013 in Spiritual living

Wuthering heights of the moorsTen years ago I made a conscious decision to move from the big city of Manchester to the rural peace of mid Wales. I believed it would improve my personal well-being and enhance my spiritual life; and it did. So I’m aware of the importance of environment and how much of an effect, for better of worse, it can have on you.

Now, as I’m travelling, I’m privileged to be able to witness this on a day to day basis, and to get to know my individual environmental chemistry (for want of a better word!) in a much deeper way.
