The soul journey through the Thoth tarot cards: Art

Thoth Art Tarot cardContinuing my journey through the spiritual development meaning of Tarot cards, specifically the major arcana of the Thoth deck, we reach number 14…..

Art Tarot card

The transformation that you have made room for in the Death card, is fully in progress as you reach Art.

In this space, you’re ready to blend all opposites and polarities together in true one-ness, to create a new way of living and being which is harmonious and perfectly balanced. Now you learn that any contradiction or difference can be resolved, because in the centre point between two seeming opposites there lies a powerful truth of acceptance.

Spiritually, you can sense the connection and energy flow between all things and you are equally at home with dark and light, fire and water, male and female because you know that they are just aspects of the same whole. On this card, the central figure represents the man and the woman depicted in the earlier Lovers, now conjoined as one androgynous being. The sacred marriage within has occurred. If you have been involved in tantric exploration, you are living the reality of melting into and becoming one with “the other”.

When you reach this point of acceptance and balance with your polarities, you access a potent cauldron of bubbling creative energy. But before you can manifest whatever is brewing here, you need to spend time allowing these ingredients to mix and mingle together. The focus is very much on inner work and really understanding who you are, and it’s important that you don’t allow external forces and demands to distract you now. Don’t underestimate the value of this process or race to complete it.

In effect there is a great healing and cleansing taking place within you, and for this reason you may be drawn to receive support and help from a healer or to study a healing modality yourself. You’re being asked to dig deep into the recesses of your soul and uncover anything that has been buried or forgotten there. It’s not uncommon to find that the usual modes of communication aren’t adequate for what you discover about yourself, so you may want to express yourself through artistic media such as drawing, painting, music or dance.

At this time of great spiritual transition, be very conscious of your grounding and ensure you maintain a strong connection with the earth. Be gentle and forgiving with yourself at all times, and you’ll find that things just fall into perfect place on their own.
